Artist's Comments

One of my favourite walks along the South Downs in Sussex. Taken in RAW and my attempt at post processing. The coast guard cottages are very close to the cliff edge!!

I've never been there, which I regret.
I recognise the vegetation though, all leaning sideways. :)
It's very nostalgic for me.

I hope the coast won't swallow up those lovely cottages.

Thank you for your comments. There was a noticed posted to the gate of the oldest clapper board cottage to the effect that they were trying hard to get help to strengthen the edge of the cliff face. They have paid for and done some work themselves. The cottages are very old and some old photos were on the notice with more info. You might be able to find out some more if you Google it. If I find some more I'll add a link.

This looks beautiful... why is it called Seven Sisters? :)
:iconancoben:
There are seven rolling hills or white cliffs. The coastguard cottages in the photo are very close to edge of the cliffss

ah, thank you for the explanation ;)
